I am adult patient and have had a fantastic experience with Dr. Johnson and staff.Dr. Johnson is practical, communicative, and knowledgeable. You can be trust that his recommendation for treatment is your best option. He will listen and work with you on any concerns you may have before and during treatment.Initially, we tried to come up with a plan to prevent extractions of adult teeth. After Dr. Johnson and my oral surgeon coordinated, it was decided extractions were necessary in order to make room for my adult canines that never descended naturally and prevent issues down the road. I went ahead with several extractions of adult teeth and of two retained baby teeth. I have no regrets. After extractions, I had gaps in my smile for awhile, but you have to trust the process.My smile looks good AND feels good. I did not realize my bite prior to braces was causing pain and discomfort, until the corrected bite relieved it.I also have flourosis, causing natural discoloration and a rough surface on my teeth. There is no permanent cure for this - but I was surprised to see that the final polishing actually improved the appearance and feel of my flourosis as well.I used to be embarrassed due to the shape of my smile, and now I am embarrassed to smile because my teeth just look so dang good and I am not used to that 😂 In all seriousness, I'm sure that will pass.Also, a shout-out to the rest of the staff. The staff are kind, helpful, and careful when working on your mouth. They always ask if wires or brackets are poking before you leave. They encourage you to come back in if you are having any problems with brackets or poking. The front desk staff always make it easy to check in and schedule your next appointment as well. There were always lots of timeslots available to choose from - I even could schedule during the lunch hour which made it very easy for me and my own work schedule.And if you're hesitant / concerned about cost of treatment - they are very flexible here. Anything to be paid after insurance can be managed with a monthly payment plan where you can make decisions on length of the plan and how much to be paid monthly, as well as the monthly payment date. There is a plan for every budget - so don't let it stop you from seeking treatment for yourself or your kids.10/10 - would do it all again.

It was really fast and easy and everyone was very nice — (Micah, 12). From a parent’s perspective, they are very professional, super great with my kids, everything is always prompt and they are extremely helpful when we have any questions. My daughter’s teeth are great after braces and my son is starting the process now. Highly recommend!!
