Welcome to Johnson Orthodontics!

At Johnson Orthodontics, we care about your dental health and safety and want to make sure that you receive the best orthodontic treatment possible. We use several advanced technologies to safely and effectively diagnose and treat each and every one of our patients.

Intraoral Digital Scanner

Never again do you have to worry about uncomfortable impressions with our office’s intraoral digital scanner! With 3D digital dentistry, the scanner eliminates the need for impressions by instead creating more precise, digital impressions. This is especially useful for Invisalign patients because the scanner can connect to the Invisalign network, instantly providing Dr. Johnson and his patients a simulation of what the patient’s expected outcome will be after completing an Invisalign treatment. In addition, digital impressions make it much easier—and faster—to send out to have your clear aligners created.

Panoramic and Cephalometric Imaging

We want to make sure you receive the best orthodontic treatment possible. For that reason, we use panoramic and cephalometric x-rays to better understand and diagnose your teeth in an accurate and safe manner. Digital x-rays provide Dr. Johnson with a more accurate picture of your teeth and jaw, which will help him determine the best treatment for you. In addition, digital x-rays have become a popular form of imaging, replacing traditional film x-rays because they expose the patient to significantly less radiation, making it a safer imaging option.

Soft Tissue Laser

Our office also uses advanced soft tissue lasers for a variety of soft tissue procedures, such as gum recontouring. The lasers emit narrow beams of light that are able to penetrate the tissue, better assisting with the removal or shaping of soft tissues such as the gums. Soft tissue lasers have become the preferred tool when it comes to soft tissue shaping and removal because they allow for a quicker procedure and causes much less discomfort for the patient.
